Prepare to be blown away by the fearless crew at MacBlair who recently set sail on an epic Viking boat race adventure.
With a team of ten colleagues channelling their inner warriors, they embarked on the good ship SOS (Stretch or Starve) on a valiant quest to conquer the waves, all in aid of their charity partner Aware NI, and in honour of their former colleague and 11th Viking, the indomitable Mary Kelly.
The Viking boat race, organised by Aware NI, proved to be an exhilarating test of strength and teamwork, and while the team crossed the finish line with an impressive time, unfortunately they didn’t claim the coveted first-place victory this time. But the team had a fantastic day and raised much needed funds to go towards Aware NI and the amazing work they do within the local communities.
