CIP EuroMix has once again demonstrated the power of teamwork and community spirit, raising an extraordinary £18,394.01 during this year’s STEPtember challenge – a significant increase on last year’s total.
Each September, CIP EuroMix encourages colleagues across its sites to get moving for a good cause. For every mile walked or run, the company donates 75p to the site’s chosen charity. This year, the collective effort was nothing short of phenomenal.
Colleagues covered an impressive 24,525 miles – a leap from last year’s 19,591 miles.
Pen Le Kelly, Communications and Engagement Manager, commented: “This year, we smashed our previous record. To put it into perspective, that’s like travelling from New York to New Zealand… via London!”
In recognition of this achievement, CIP EuroMix will also match the total raised with a donation to its corporate charity partner, Marie Curie. This means an additional £18,394.01 will go towards supporting end-of-life care across the UK.
Pen added: “A huge well done to everyone who took part. Their commitment not only helped us surpass our previous records but also strengthened our sense of community. STEPtember 2025 has been a remarkable success, and it’s all thanks to our incredible colleagues.”
