The store’s launch, on Tuesday 16th December, was given a festive fanfare by New Orleans style funky brass band The King Brasstards who brought upbeat energy and festive tunes, along with a ribbon-cutting ceremony led by Leyland’s CEO, Martin Hastings. A range of leading suppliers were also on hand to showcase some of their latest products, and there were plenty of festive treats, games, prizes and giveaways for customers to enjoy throughout the course of the day.
The opening of the new store represents a substantial investment in the area continues to demonstrate Leyland’s ongoing commitment to supporting local tradespeople, DIY enthusiasts and the wider community.
Customers of the new store can expect a welcoming and well-equipped environment featuring Leyland’s trusted range of leading paint brands, decorating essentials, tools, electrical and plumbing equipment, timber and more. Paints are mixed in-store while you wait and will provide both professionals and DIY customers with the choice and quality they need.
