12th annual Woodie’s Heroes campaign brings total raised for Irish children’s charities since 2015 to more than €5.3 million
Woodie’s annual fundraising campaign, Woodie’s Heroes, has raised an incredible €642,663 for four Irish children’s charities – Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, ISPCC Childline, Down Syndrome Ireland and Cancer Fund for Children.
The latest fundraising total brings the amount raised through Woodie’s Heroes since its launch in 2015 to more than €5.3 million, thanks to the continued generosity of Woodie’s colleagues, customers and suppliers across Ireland.
Each year, Woodie’s colleagues across the country select the four charities supported by the campaign, helping to ensure Woodie’s Heroes supports causes that matter to communities across Ireland.
This year’s campaign was brought to life by four inspiring ambassadors - Ciarán, Marty, Maisie and Michael - whose personal stories highlighted the life-changing impact these charities have on children, young people and families throughout Ireland.
Funds raised through Woodie’s Heroes 2026 will be divided equally between the four charities, supporting vital services including assistance dog training and family support programmes, Childline’s confidential listening service for children and young people, early years speech and language support for children with Down syndrome, and emotional and therapeutic support for children and young people affected by cancer and their families.
