Woodie’s colleagues across Ireland recently attended the annual Woodie’s Woscars recognition awards ceremony in Croke Park. Now in its ninth year, the annual Woscars event recognises colleagues who make an exceptional contribution to their teams, customers and communities, highlighting the people and values at the heart of Woodie’s success.
A total of 25 awards were presented on the night, spanning individual and team categories, culminating in the much-coveted Store of the Year award. Woodie’s Clonmel took home the most prestigious Woscar of the evening, being named Store of the Year 2026, with Woodie’s Coolock and Woodie’s Turners Cross announced as runners-up in the Store of the Year category.
Among the other winners, Woodie’s Mullingar was named Garden Centre of the Year, while the team at Woodie’s Tallaght took home Store of the Year – Charity in recognition of its contribution to the local community. The Store of the Year – Sales Growth award went to Woodie’s Drogheda, while Woodie’s Navan was recognised with the Merchandising Store of the Year award.
“Woscars is one of the highlights of our year because it gives us the opportunity to recognise the people who make Woodie’s what it is. Every year we look forward to dedicating an evening to recognise and celebrate the hard work and achievements of our colleagues across Ireland. Congratulations to every colleague who was nominated, and a very special congratulations to our 2026 Woscars winners. Your achievements are a fantastic reflection of the talent and spirit across Woodie’s, and your willingness to go the extra mile sets an example for us all. I’d also like to thank our supplier partners for their continued support of the Woscars and, most importantly, our colleagues across Ireland for the energy and commitment they bring to Woodie’s every day.”
